What Is Road Tax? and Why Insurance Comes First
Before you can renew your road tax in Malaysia, your car must first have valid insurance coverage. This is a mandatory requirement by JPJ.

Road tax is a compulsory tax that all vehicle owners must pay to use Malaysian roads. The cost is calculated based on your vehicle’s engine capacity, location, body type and ownership
