Terms and Conditions
Introduction
- The CNY Carnival Campaign 2025 (“Campaign”) is organised by Lim Tayar (“Organiser”).
- The Campaign is valid from 10 January 2025 to 23 January 2025, both dates inclusive (“Campaign Period”).
- The Organiser reserves the right to modify or terminate any promotions or terms without prior notice.
Eligibility
- This Campaign is open to all customers who meet the specific conditions for each promotion (“Eligible Participants”).
- Only Eligible Participants may participate in the Campaign and stand a chance to win the Prize (as defined hereinafter).
Participation Criteria
- These terms and conditions apply to the organiser. By participating, you agree to comply with these terms.
- To participate in this Campaign, the Eligible Participant will need to match the entry terms and conditions, announced via Lim Tayar official Instagram [@limtayar_official] and Facebook [@Lim Tayar] (Eligible Entries).
- How to join:
Step 1: Spend at least RM488 on Lim Tayar during the promotion period.
Step 2: Purchase one of the carnival packages from participating stores. Packages vary between Lim Tayar and Lim Tayar Shell Stores and are non-refundable.
Step 3: Submit your receipt to the lucky draw box. - One (1) qualified invoice entitle for one (1) lucky draw entry only.
- Eligible Participants must insert their receipt into the provided lucky draw box to officially participate in the lucky draw activity, there is no automatic participation.
- Incomplete registrations/ entries, entries received outside the Promotion Period, entries that do not adhere to these Terms and Conditions will be automatically disqualified from the promotion.
- The Organiser shall not be liable and/ or will not reimburse the participant for any charges, claims incurred in submitting the entries, if any.
Winners & Prizes
- Only twenty-five (25) Eligible Participant will be selected, at random, as winner for the Prizes, by the Organiser.
- The Organiser’s announcement on the winners list is final and is on its absolute sole discretion. No Further correspondence or appeal will be entertained.
- The winner’s announcement will be made on Lim Tayar WhatsApp and social media pages, including WhatsApp [Lim Tayar Customer Experience], Facebook page [@Lim Tayar] and/or, Instagram page [@limtayar_official] within a day after the Campaign Period.
- Prizes: 1 unit of Poh Kong 2 grams 999.9 Gold Bar (Bunga Raya series).
- The Organiser reserves the right to amend and change the Campaign’s winning mechanics at its sole discretion, without any prior notice.
- The winner’s name of this prize as listed in the acknowledgement section is the authorized winner of the prize. This prize is not redeemable for cash or exchange with equivalent value.
- The winners are required to collect their prize in person at designated location or as instructed by the Organiser.
- All prizes must be claimed at winners’ own expense before 31 March 2025. All unclaimed prizes will be forfeited by the Organiser.
- The winner is required to produce proof of identity during prize redemption for purposes of verification. The only forms of proof of identity accepted by the Organiser are Malaysian identity card, passport or driver’s license. A failure to provide any proof of identity entitles the Organiser to disqualify the participant/winner.
- If a winner is unable to collect the prize personally, they may authorize a representative with a written authorization letter, valid identification of both winner and representative, and proof of participation (if required).
- Rescheduled collection dates are subject to the Organiser’s availability and discretion. The Organiser is not obligated to accommodate all reschedule requests.
- The Organiser reserves the absolute right to substitute any prize with that of similar value at any time without prior notice. All prizes are not transferable, refundable or exchangeable in any other form for whatever reason. The value of the prize is correct at the time of printing. All prizes are given on an “as is” basis. The Organiser will not be responsible if the prize is damaged after it is received by the winner.
- The Organiser is not liable for delays or failure to collect due to circumstances beyond its control, such as emergencies, transportation issues, or other unforeseen events.
Discount Voucher
- This voucher validity is only from 1 March 2025 to 31 March 2025.
- To redeem the voucher, customers need to spend at least RM300 on a single receipt.
- The discount amount of RM100 is deducted from the whole invoice amount.
- This voucher is non stackable with another voucher.
- One discount voucher is applicable for a single invoice only. Each invoice is applicable for one car only.
- The original discount voucher must be presented at the time of redemption. Photocopies of the discount voucher will not be accepted.
- Once the discount voucher is used, it cannot be reused. Damaged discount vouchers will be considered as invalid discount vouchers and will not be replaced.
- The voucher is valid up to the stipulated expiry date and no extension of date shall be given.
- All prices may be subject to service charge (SST) and prevailing government taxes.
- Offers cannot be exchanged for cash or used in conjunction with other ongoing promotions and redemptions, discounts, offer coupons, vouchers, loyalty programs and member privilege cards.
- The Organiser shall not be held responsible for the loss or damage of this voucher and any of the losses or damages suffered by the bearer of this voucher that arise from or in connection with the loss or damage of the vouchers.
Carnival Package
- Only customers that spend at least RM488 on a single receipt are entitled to the 20% discount from the carnival packages.
- The discount amount doesn’t include SST.
- All prices may be subject to service charge (SST) and prevailing government taxes.
- This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other ongoing promotions and redemptions, discounts, offer coupons, vouchers, loyalty programs and member privilege cards.
- Each qualified invoice can buy multiple types of carnival package.
- Each type of carnival package is only limited to 1 quantity per invoice, unless otherwise stated.
- Carnival package items cannot be exchanged, refunded, or returned separately from the qualifying purchase.
- Carnival package items are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to stock availability. Lim Tayar reserves the right to replace Carnival package items with similar products of equal or higher value when necessary.
- The Organiser reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the PWP Program at any time without prior notice.
- Any misuse or abuse of this PWP Program, including fraudulent activity, will result in disqualification from the offer and possible suspension from future promotions.
- The Organiser is not responsible for errors, delays, or stock shortages related to this PWP Program. All decisions made by the Organiser regarding the program is final.
General
- By participating in this campaign, participants consent to give their personal information, and the Organiser reserves the reserve the right to publish or display the name, picture and city of residence of the Eligible Participants who won the prize(s) for this Campaign for advertising and publicity purposes in any manner it deems appropriate. By participating in this Campaign, the Winners hereby consent to and agree that Lim Tayar shall be at liberty to publish their names, pictures and city of residence without compensation for advertising and publicity purposes. Non-compliance may result in an alternative winner being chosen.
- The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participant found to violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activities.
- The Organiser is not responsible or liable for any error, lost, delayed, incomplete entries, technical errors or failures beyond its control.
- Participants shall assume full liability and responsibility in case of any accident, injury, damage or claim resulting from participation in this Campaign.
- The Organiser reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the lucky draw or these terms at any time without prior notice.
- The Organiser will not entertain any complaint whatsoever in connection with the Prizes.
- The Organiser shall be entitled to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions or any part thereof and/or substitute or replace the Prizes offered under this Campaign and/or to extend, modify, shorten, discontinue, cancel, terminate or suspend this Campaign by giving adequate notice to Eligible Participants.
- No compensation in cash, refund, replacement or any kind shall be given to the Eligible Participants for any losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Eligible Participants as a direct or an indirect result of such variation, deletion, addition or alteration of these Terms and Conditions and/or the extension, modification, cancellation, suspension or termination of this Campaign.
