Your journey’s safety is our top priority. At Lim Tayar, we understand that unexpected tyre issues can be a real inconvenience. That’s why we’ve designed our 30-Minute Tyre Warranty Claim to ensure you can get back on the road quickly and safely. 

Get Started With Your Tyre Claim Process

Step 1: Reach out to our Customer Experience Team 

Send us the clear pictures of the defected tyre in 4 different views [Overall, SidewallDamage and DOT (manufactured date) View Picturealong with your receipt to our team through WhatsApp.

Step 2: Evaluation 

Our Customer Experience team will review the defected tyre and whether your tyre issue falls under the claimable categories, such as Tread Lift Separation, Protruding Belt Wire, Sidewall Separation, Upper Sidewalk Crack.

Step 3: Schedule your Appointment 

Once your tyre issue is identified and falls under the claimable category, we’ll set up an appointment for you at your desired service center. 

Step 4: Visit the Service Center for Tyre Replacement 

Head to the designated Lim Tayar service center at your appointment time. The tyre replacement and installation process will be completed within 30 minutes. 

Eligibility Requirements
  1. The customers must be the residents of Malaysia and foreign citizen with valid document.

  2. Only individuals & company registration vehicles for private usage (non-commercial) are eligible.

Eligible Products
  1. Participating Brand & Pattern:
    a. Michelin;
    b. Hankook;
    c. Interstate;
    d. Continental;
    e. Nokian Tyres;
    f. Eldorado Tire;
    g. Sumitomo Tires.

  2. Passenger car and SUV tyre only.

  3. All products must be purchased from participating Lim Tayar retail & e-commerce (online) point (“Channels”) within the Program Period.

Terms And Conditions For Claims
  1. Expansion on claims not covered:
    (a) Road hazard injury (e.g. a cut, snag, bruise, impact damage or puncture, whether repairable or not);
    (b) Under-inflation, over-inflation, improper maintenance, or other abuse;Mechanical irregularity in vehicles such as wheel misalignment resulting in uneven or rapid wear;
    (c) Tyres fitted to or used with incompatible or improper valves, rim or wheel;
    (d) Vehicles which are carrying loads or running at speeds higher than the load and speed index marked on the tyre sidewalls or that recommended for the vehicles;
    (e) Tyres purchased second hand;
    (f) Accident, fire, chemical explosion, tyre alteration or vandalism;
    (g) Tyres that have been illegally altered or modified (such as tampered barcode on bead, modified product label, etc;
    (h) Tyres damage due to negligence or improper use.

  2. The claim must be made within the warranty period, for example the tyre manufacture in the year 2022 and the coverage will be till year 2026.

  3. This coverage applies to all tires purchased on or after May 1, 2024, if they fall under the five specified brands mentioned earlier.

  4. The customer must provide the original receipt of purchase from Lim Tayar.

  5. The minimum required tread depth for tires is 1.6 mm, which will be assessed by our Lim Tayar technicians.

  6. Each tire has 7 mm of remaining tread depth. The remaining tread depth of the tire will be compensated, and the customer will be required to pay the difference.

  7. Tyres must be purchased at any Lim Tayar service centre.

  8. Only the damaged tyre is eligible for a claim. It is advisable to replace the second tyre if the tread depth falls below 50% to maintain proper car balancing.

  9. The tires under this program need to undergo balancing and alignment in any Lim Tayar store for every 5000 km of usage or every 3 months, whichever occurs first.

  10. The tyre change process will only require 30 minutes from the moment the customer hands over the keys to our staff, and only wheel balancing will be provided as a complimentary service.

  11. A company may, at its option repair the tyre, supply an equivalent tyre as replacement, reimburse the value of the tyre backed on the remaining tread depth or offer such other form of compensation according to its prevailing commercial policy.

  12. Lim Tayar reserves the right to assess the damage and approve or deny the claim accordingly.
